Chinese Dumpling with Pork Shrimp Cabbage Chives

This is a simple and easy to make recipe for Chines Dumplings with filling of Pork, Shrimp, Cabbage, and Chives. Well balanced ingredients and delicious.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Pork
  • 10 Pcs Peeled Shrimp / Prawn
  • 1/2 Cabbage
  • 2 Stalks Green Onions
  • 10-15 Stalks Chinese Chives A small hand full
  • 1/2 inche Ginger Root
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp White Pepper Powder
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Wine or Sake
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Powder
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock or Water

Instructions

Marinated the Meat

  • Finely chop the ground pork - this method can make the pork taste smooth without any tendons, then move it into a mixing bowl
  • Add salt, pepper, white pepper, chicken powder, soy sauce, cooking wine in the meat, mix well.
  • Cut the green onions, ground the ginger and mix with the chicken stock
  • Pour the Chicken stock (1/3 at the time) into the meat mixture , keep mixing it until the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Add the sesame oil , mix it then wrap the pork with clear wrap. Keep the pork in the refrigerator at least 1 hour.

Vegetales and Shrimp

  • Finely chop the cabbage, add 2 tbsp of salt, mix well , then wait for 15 minutes, squeeze out of the liquid from cabbage
  • Finely chop the Chinese chives add 1 tbsp of salt and sesame oil mix well , then wait for 15 minutes.
  • Finely cut the shrimp, season the shrimp with a little salt and pepper

Combine the meat and vegetable

  • Combine the cabbage, Chinese chives and shrimp in the meat mixture, and its ready to wrap with Dumpling Wrap

Final wrap and preservation

  • Prepare a tray with some flour, keep the dumplings in the freezer at least one hour then preserve them in the freezer bag. Now you have preserved dumpling for at least two weeks.
